We are currently looking for a LEED Certification Reviewer to join our small team of design professionals. We prefer an individual with an architectural or engineering degree and, though not necessay, prefer a diversified background in LEED, energy modeling, architecture, HVAC systems, and commissioning. Our projects include prominent LEED-registered buildings throughout the U.S. The Epsten Group is also a consultant to the U.S. Green Building Council for LEED Certification Assessments and similar services. Occasional travel in the Southeast and Washington DC area may be required.
Experience required:
-College degree Architectural; or, related filed
-LEED Accredited Professional
-At least 3 years related experience required
Duties will include:
-Reading and understanding of documentation of projects, including architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil and landscape drawings, specifications, and calculations, especially as thy relate to sustainable design / LEED.
-Understanding LEED-NC 2.1 and 2.2 rating systems and templates, and documentation requirements, and applying these LEED project criteria to the review of documentation.
-Provide written comments in excellent grammar and spelling explaining the results of the review, stock language may be used if standard comments are applicable.
-Track schedule, hours spent and accounting of review.
