Standard Operating Procedures Writer (Capital Hill)

Government contractor is seeking an experienced person to develop and update Standard Operating Procedures for our federal client. Must have excellent writing and interpersonal skills. College degree preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Communicate with client personnel to understand and document inter-departmental procedures and processes
* Work with clients to gather procedural/technical data via phone and/or in person
* Extract information from clients for internal procedures.
* Evaluate and provide workarounds for client issues & notify management of any potential escalations
* Maintain clear and relevant procedural documentation.
* Acquire & maintain current knowledge of client business and responsibilities & record these solutions in our knowledge base
* Provide outstanding and timely customer service
* Work extremely well independently as well as within a team environment
* Share knowledge with teammates
* Complete required documentation for delivery to client

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

* Extremely analytical and interpersonal skills
* Advanced skill set with Microsoft Office
* Have excellent written and oral communication skills
* Hard working and extremely dependable
* Have exceptional time management skills
* Strong skills in critical thinking to discern which issues can be answered remotely and which must be resolved desk-side
* Quick Learner
* Exceptional relationship building skills with special focus on making a great first impression and building rapport immediately
* Customer-minded and attention to detail is extremely important. Must show ability to follow-up on details until the problem is resolved.

Compensation

Commensurate with experience and market rates.
