Toronto Fashion Writers Wanted (Toronto)

blogto.com is looking for some fashion writers to profile local, independent clothing stores. Are you a fashion whore? Do you know the difference between Model Citizen and being a model citizen? Do you want to write approximately 500 word profiles of some of the best, newest or perhaps most under-appreciated clothing stores in Toronto? If so, we want to hear from you.

What we're looking for in an applicant:

1. The ability to write with humour. We want your profiles to be fun reads, peppered with humour, sarcasm, insight and whatever other special ingredients you want to throw into the mix.

2. The ability to write these profiles during the months of July and August (and potentially beyond!) There are dozens of clothing stores we'd like to see profiled. The more you can tackle for us the better.

3. Good knowledge of the local fashion scene and clothing stores in Toronto.

Questions you might have:

1. Do I get paid? Yes. Absolutely. Payment terms are negotiable and will be discussed once we hear from you.

2. Do I need to take photos? No. But if you have the ability to take good quality photos of the stores that's certainly a bonus.

3. What sort of clothing stores should I profile? We have a list, but it will probably work out better if you profile ones that align with your interests. For example, we don't want you to profile a store that sells cocktail dresses if you're a guy and you don't know anything or care about cocktail dresses.

4. When do you want me to start? Sooner the better!
