DOTmed Business News is seeking a reporter to attend conferences and conventions concentrating largely on the equipment portion of the medical industry.
If you're the right person for the job, you are articulate, charismatic and a capable writer. You can work well on deadline, have experience with air travel and preferably have experience dealing with press offices and convention centers.
This is an ideal opportunity for journalism students fresh out of college who want to gain experience with a nationally distributed publication. Knowledge of the medical equipment field is not necessary but it is helpful.
The job will most be a telecommuting position with in-office meetings as needed (likely once or twice a month)with travel will required, also one to two times per month to various shows across the country, with the possibility of international travel (passport a plus).
