bthesite.com, the launching point for Baltimore’s daily conversation, is looking for one or more freelance journalists/bloggers to post several times daily on Baltimore and Maryland news, events, people, places, issues, oddities and the like. The ideal candidate is a local news junkie who is intimately familiar with Baltimore culture, personalities, entertainment, sports and history, someone who offers insight and informed opinion and can engage readers with humor, thought-provoking stances and an open mind. Reporting experience a plus. The freelance blogger(s) will sometimes produce video, MP3s, photo galleries and other multimedia elements. Bthesite.com complements b free daily, the new publication for readers in their 20s and 30s that the Baltimore Sun Media Group launched in April. As the site evolves, the freelance blogger(s) will collaborate with editors and staff in the b newsroom to plan Web content.
