SmartCEO is seeking local freelance writers for its award-winning monthly magazine. Qualified candidates will have a proven background in business feature writing and a keen understanding of the Washington, DC, and/or Baltimore, MD, business communities. SmartCEO’s feature writers illuminate the strategies and personalities behind some of the region’s most influential companies through in-depth reporting and captivating storytelling. The information brought forward by the magazine has the intention of helping this region’s companies sharpen their competitive advantages.
Requirements:
• More than five years' experience writing business features • Curiosity and creativity combined with excellent research, reporting and writing skills • Ability to travel for interviews within the Greater Washington and/or Baltimore metro areas • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
