The ideal candidate should possess 2+ years of field experience, strong writing and communication skills, and an enthusiasm for reporting and/or educating. Current areas of coverage include consumer electronics, home appliance, outdoor maintenance, fitness, and DIY projects.
There are also writing opportunities available within the marketing division of the company.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in journalism, writing, or communications is preferred. Experience may substitute for specific degree requirement.
Experience/Skills:
- Excellent writing, reporting, and communication skills
- 2 years experience required
- Knowledge of AP style
- Ability to compile information quickly and accurately
- Strong interview skills
- Quick transcription (typing)
- Cultivate and nurture sources
Compensation:
