Online Community Leader/Editor (Fort Washington PA)

Apptastics, LLC is an Internet start-up located in Fort Washington, PA. We have developed a new and exciting web application for social networking sites (Facebook, MySpace, Bebo) that allows users to create online communities across multiple categories (Entertainment, Music, Celebrities, Sports, Politics, Organizations, and more). We are looking for two part-time interns to help us create and maintain these online communities.

Qualifications:
- Journalism or editorial background a plus, but not required
- Experience and knowledge of social networks and applications
- Good computer skills and an understanding of the World Wide Web
- Excellent communication skills; ability to interact effectively with others
- Proactive, creative, enthusiastic, organized, focused

Duties:
- Create engaging online groups and maintain a consistent dialogue
- Participate and monitor the communities
- Supply feedback to improve the look and the functionality of the application

Specifics:
- Flexible schedule; 2-4 days a week; up to 20 hours a week
- Provide own transportation; less than a 5 minute drive from both the Ambler and the Fort Washington campuses
