We are looking for a freelance fashion writer who lives in Boston and can write about primarily handbags, but there's also room to write about style, celebrity style, whats on sale, etc.
Would love someone who is ambitious and dedicated to write around 20 reviews a week or more. Reviews are pretty short, usually 6-8 sentences.
All work is done from your home so its an ideal freelance job. However down the road there will be opportunities for you to interview fashion and beauty professionals, so you do need to live in Boston. I also want someone who lives in Boston so I can meet with once in a while to touch base.
We want someone very knowledgeable who can teach the readers something they didn't know before. We love posts that educate people.
Ideally this writer can chat with the readers on the message board and on the blog comments to help build the community. He/She should be comfortable hanging out in fashion communities on MySpace or FaceBook and other large communities as a representative from the Purse Page to help spread the word about us. That's why we're looking for someone who lives and breathes fashion, so doing all of this writing will be fun for you.
We pay through PayPal so you get paid electronically and quickly.
This could be a fantastic part time job for a recent fashion grad, someone who works in high end retail, or a stay at home mom who is a fashion expert and wants to make some extra money from home writing about what she loves.
