The National Alliance for Public Charter Schools, a Washington D.C.-based educational reform non-profit, is seeking a part-time editor (approximately 10 hours a week) for its e-news summary, Charter News Daily. To apply, send a cover letter and resume to pressroom@publiccharters.org with the words “editor application” in the subject line.
Five days a week, the editor will review on-line media sites and prepare a summary - Charter News Daily - for the national public charter school community. The Charter News Daily is then emailed to its subscribers by 8:30 am EST. On Fridays, a summary of the five days’ news and information resources will be produced by the editor in a Charter News Weekly & Resource Guide and distributed to its subscribers.
* Location: Washington DC
* Compensation: $40/hr. (10 hr./week)
* Telecommuting is ok.
* This is a part-time job.
* This is a contract job.
