Are you passionate about history and do you enjoy writing about it? We are an established online store looking for history blog writers with experience using the Wordpress blogging software platform to assist us in launching our blog. Work from the comfort of your home.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Wordpress Blogging software knowledge
Excellent Grammar
Passion for subject
Engaging and provocative writing style
Photo editing skills
Basic knowledge of HTML
THE BLOGGING DETAILS:
This is a freelance blog writing position. Each blog entry should be between 300 and 500 words and incorporate images from the public domain where applicable. Each blog entry should be original and not previously published elsewhere. Frequency of posts: between ONE and TWO posts per week. Schedule to be determined. Compensation: $10/post; 5% off any product in our online store. You should have access to the internet and will use your own computer to post articles. Potential for ongoing work.
PREFFERED CANDIDATES:
College graduates with degree in history, government, archaeology. History Teachers or Professors are also preferred. Please provide three writing samples and links to any blogs you have written. If you enjoy history, this is a great opportunity to make some additional income on the side doing something you enjoy.
