HR Admin Assistant (Work from home and office)

Position Description:
Human Resources Assistant and project support, reporting to the founder of small management consultant firm.

The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with a degree in HR, business or communications, and with an interest in gaining additional exposure to the Development side of Human Resources. The Human Resources Assistant will have responsibilities mainly geared toward project, offsite, and organizational development initiatives, but will also support coaching and consultant partners determined project to project. Part-time contracts are welcome. Students seeking fulltime co-ops are also eligible for hire. An emphasis on quality of work and a healthy sense of humor are required!

Key Responsibilities:
• Scheduling meetings and organizaing logistics of offsites
* maintaining correspondence with prospective and established clients as assigned
• Completing general tasks in support of the executive, management and team development(tracking and filing client documents and larger projects as assigned
• Aiding the planning and execution of internal and external company programs
• Representing the company at workshops, events and offsites as assigned
• Revamping and maintaining the company database
• Supporting the greater consulting firm with general tasks (filing, correspondence, project support, event planning, etc.) as needed

Required Qualifications/Skills/Education:
• Student or recent graduate of 4-year undergraduate program
• Excellent computer skills, including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to apply creativity and objectivity to designing and implementing solutions to real business problems
• Strong self-motivation with the ability to work in a fast paced, forward moving environment
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport and influence decisions

• Be able to adapt to changing priorities
• Demonstrate discretion, sound judgment, and an ability to sweat the small stuff when necessary
