Basic Functions and General Scope
As a member of the sales team, you will be responsible for proactively generating leads and closing business in the veterinary marketplace. You will be focused on generating and then qualifying leads and closing sales over the phone and in person.
Reporting to the VP Sales, the position requires exceptional sales skills combined with persistence, drive, creative problem solving, and persistence while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Position Requirements
•Undergraduate degree or 1-2 years of sales experience
•Experience in outbound sales and marketing, with at least one year in sales.
•Knowledge related to sales and clinical application of medical devices preferred.
•Knowledge of anatomy and physiology would be well regarded.
•Professional phone etiquette, strong attention to detail.
•A work style that emphasizes a disciplined and organized approach to supporting customers.
•Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple aspects of a small start up enterprise.
•Functions well individually as well as participating in a cross-functional team environment in a sales support capacity.
•Ability and willingness to perform any and all tasks required.
Compensation
A 30% commission rate of product sold with an opportunity to go to a full time position is available. There is no cap and your ability to earn is limitless. This is a growing company and you will be on the fast track with numerous opportunities for full time employment and promotion.
