Instructional Designer (Denver)

Looking for a full-time or part-time instructional designer for short-term remote contract work, possibly leading to long-term contract and/or employment. Designer will help create a highly interactive, scenario-based online training course for law enforcement. Some travel may be required.

What we're looking for:
• Have own computer and software
• Comfortable with remote collaboration
• Comfortable with ambiguous, constantly changing project requirements
• Comfortable with constructive criticism
• Comfortable with client interaction
• Sharp eye for detail

Requirements:
• Minimum three years of experience in all phases of instructional design (research, analysis, design, development, delivery, and evaluation) of both print and electronically delivered training deliverables
• Minimum three years experience with training development, preferably with scenario-rich/game-based courseware
• Strong grasp of adult-learning principles to the design of training materials for a variety of audiences
• Evidence of strong analytical, oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently and meet deadlines on time

Preferred Experience:
• Game design and development experience
• Rapid e-learning development and prototyping
• Agile and related methodologies
• User interface development / design
• Law enforcement
