We are looking for a strong Python developer to join our team. This is a project that will last several months and will/should turn into a longer term project.
Your skill set must include:
*Experience with Python and web frameworks such as Django or ROR
*BSCS or equivalent; Master desired
*3+ years of proven industry experience with focus on web service SOA systems. Consumption and creation of api's (REST, SOAP, WS, XML)
*3+ years experience with compiled languages (C, C++, Java)
*Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithm (i.e. knowing the technical tradeoffs of various approaches, performance implications, complexity, etc...)
*Object oriented programming.
*Strong experience in working window and unix environments and configuration databases (DNS, AD)
*Strong experience working with Perl
*Experience building high availability and scalable software for enterprise level products
*Source code management, change management
*Excellent communication skills and must be able to interface with customers as necessary
*Proven ability to deliver commercial quality software.
*Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
*Design and implement user interfaces for server management, configuration, and reporting for the supported functionality in our core DNS, DHCP products, including integration with other enterprise systems
Rates for this position will range from 45-85/hr based on experience and fit
Remote work is okay if communication and availability can be demonstrated. However you must be in the USA.
