We are a distribution company in NW Austin looking for a part time developer. Web developer must have experience building web based business applications and websites. Part-time position with approximately 10-20 hours per week or on a project by project basis with potential to go full time. You can work from home or at our office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop internal company website with focus on Lead Generation and search engine optimization (SEO)
Develop, deploy and maintain web-based applications using Microsoft technologies
Collaborate with business leaders to define project requirements
Aid in the design and development of user interfaces and database structures
Ability to work independently to plan and design websites and web applications
Maintain an understanding of existing and emerging technologies
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITY
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Skill sets must include:
1. Microsoft Visual Studio
2. PHP/OS Commerce
3. ASP.net
4. C#.Net
5. Javascript
6. AJAX
7. SQL Server 2005 and SQL Reporting Services
8. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & lead generation a must
* Location: NorthWest Austin
* Compensation: $16/$20 hr + incentive pay based on qualifications
