We are in need of a programmer to help us complete a project that is currently 80-90% finished. Here are the specifications:
1. Primary application is a Windows Mobile 5/6 project written in C#.
2. Sync to server (SQL 2005) using MS's new ADO.Net sync capability.
3. Mobile data is in SQL CE.
4. Project is on a short timeline, with the need to finish system for initial deployment to first customer by 12/31.
Mobile system is 95-99% complete on forms, data, and workflow, and an Alpha version of the application with local data is in the hands of the first customer; further refinement and bug fixes will be required following alpha testing. Basic sync framework and components have been built and lightly tested, but not stressed.
We are a very small company that is internally funded, working on systems that are niche extensions to one of the Microsoft Dynamics accounting systems. A second customer has already committed, and their needs will include some customization to the existing design. The next few months will be stressful as we constantly reassess and fine-tune the application, our business model, and juggle customer demands; if you expect a quiet, slow-paced, peaceful environment this will not be it. We will not work with a programmer outside of Texas. This first set of work can lead to other engagements, and other possible relationships.
