We expect you have some of the best web programming knowledge and skills relative to your peers to help build an unforgettable desktop/mobile online experience -- using video programming, content up and downloading, blogging, social networking, and other interactive features and functionalities.
If you are positive, energetic, spend tons of time on the net, yet can converse easily about cool sites, design, what works, what does not work, and you know the “how” and “why” of the successful sites that are big hits with 20-35 yr olds – AND you can bring that expertise and rare “out of the box thinking” to launching this venture within a fast paced timeline, we want to talk to you, regardless of your preferred platform!

REPONSIBILITIES:
• Overall execution of first-class user interfaces, facilitating design and UX implementation/optimization on both desktop and mobile platforms
• Implement the application from prototype to production
• Use -- and more importantly advocate -- the use of web standards, and all modern web technologies
• Optimize pages for both SEO and load time
• Produce systems documentation
• Design/build database based web sites, potentially using MS SQL as back end.
• Assist in designing customized graphical emails
• Flash banners
• Email templates
• We are sure there are other obvious ones we can review
REQUIRED:
• 3+ years UI development experience
• Expert in front end scripting skills
• Knowledge of common design patterns and architecture
• Self-motivated and responsible
• Proven history of implementing successful interfaces from concept to production
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills
• Experience working on a team of developers
PREFERRED:
• Experience with media serving/streaming
• Knowledge of web analytics, marketing standards
This position will initially be part-time ($10 / hr. for the first 100 hours, negotiable DOE) and potential stake in the company, then migrate to a fulltime salaried position. Again, we can only consider LA-based candidates. Hours to be determined upon mutual assessment of project scope. Work location may be remote as well as onsite, again, to be determined upon discussion.
