An Administrative Assistant is needed to support Sales Manager in the Metro Atlanta area. This is a work-from-home position, requiring a quiet workspace, access to a fax machine, computer with internet access, and phone. The work schedule may fluctuate; however, this is a full-time position.
Examples of Duties
• Provides clerical support to manager such as coordinating materials for large mailings, maintaining records and files, scheduling and coordinating meetings, and maintaining computer databases
• Assists manager with special projects and reports.
• Attends meetings as a representative.
• Makes phone calls and provides general information to the public.
• Assists in planning special events.
• Drafts reports and correspondence; processes various office forms.
• Assist with recruitment duties (creating job postings, screening resumes, conducting phone interviews, etc.)
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills Required
• Knowledge of basic office/clerical procedures.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (2003 or later).
• Effective oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• Effective time management skills.
• Effective organizational skills.
Minimum Hiring Standards
Bachelor’s degree; or a high school diploma or GED and four years administrative experience; or a combination of education and experience. At least an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office software is required.
