Burlesque Troupe seeks Jack/Jill-of-all-Trades (Boston)

The Boston Babydolls are looking for help managing our rapidly growing empire. We have a lot to do and some of it is really fun. This is a great job for someone who is interested in theater, dance, conference management, marketing and promotion, sales, or seeing the inner workings of a small business.

This is a part-time job (around 20 hours a week), some of which you can do from home. The rest of it is going to require being on-site (our Quincy studio or our Dorchester office) or traveling around greater Boston. The schedule is flexible. We pay in a combination of hourly wages, commissions, and bonuses. Perks can include access to classes, personalized training, tickets to shows and events, and rehearsal space.

You should be

* comfortable and professional speaking on the phone (this includes being comfortable making calls to people you don't know)
* reasonably internet savvy. You don't need to be a programmer, but you need to be comfortable using search engines and e-mail
* be able to write clearly and in a professional tone
* have a valid drivers license and be comfortable driving (you don't need your own car, but you might be called on to drive someone else's)
* reliable, punctual, organized, and be able to work on a task until it's done with minimal supervision

This is a great opportunity for a college student, someone with a part-time job that they may not love, or someone who needs to schedule work around other commitments.

Send a resume (or work history) and a cover letter to "thescoop@bostonbabydolls.net" with the subject "Office Help"

Thanks!

* Location: Boston
* Compensation: $10-$12 per hour plus perks
* Telecommuting is ok.
* This is a part-time job.
