WHO ARE WE?
Vagabondish.com - an online magazine that discusses offbeat backpacking and travel news, advice, how-to tips and tall tales from around the world.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We're seeking to build a long-term relationship with our next Feature blogger.
Though it's certainly a plus, you don't necessarily have to be traveling at the moment. You just have to love travel and everything that entails. If you get giddy at the thought of just standing in an airport awaiting your next flight to anywhere ... we want you!
This is NOT your average, glossy, high society travel mag "fluff" writing. our readers are well-educated, socially conscious and love to explore the world; not just the typical two-weeks-per-year vacation type of travel.
We want someone with a real love for the world around them who can write about it with equal doses of wit, humor and humility.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Knack for recognizing "social media friendly" topics
- "Blogger's level" understanding of WordPress - enough to navigate your way around the WP admin panel, upload photos, etc.
- Ability to research and source your own content - you will review new topics with the editor each week before posting
- Ability to source your own photos - photography quality and content must be consistent with that currently found on the Vagabondish.com website (we can help initially with photo websites/sources)
- Timeliness - you must be able to consistently meet your deadline each week, without exception

COMPENSATION:
Dependent on the length of the article. Most articles will be in the 1000-1200 word range. All bloggers are paid monthly via PayPal at the end of each month. Our payscale is on par with other industry blogs and bloggers.
SCHEDULE:
Initially, we only need one post from you per week.
