Inspired eco and socially conscious start-up is looking for a needle in the haystack. We have created a business concept that is bold, economically sustainable, and betters the planet. We seek one unique, eco and socially minded financial whiz well-versed in a triple bottom line (TBL) business methodology to gradually become the Chief Financial Officer of this progressive, hip-company-in-the making, where we walk our sustainability talk.
We’re looking for a bright, good-hearted genius who’s got a knack for numbers; superb talent for developing TBL sustainable financial models in grower, artisan and media socially conscious projects; and who gets and believes in our vision. The chosen candidate will have a wicked dedication to making a difference on the planet; sport a sense of humor; and be comfy in their sandals working with a group of intelligent, multi-tasking outside-the-box thinking renegade team. We’re an informal and talented crew who’s interested in working with genuine, down-to-earth folks.
We’re in the process of developing a TBL business plan and will be looking to our CFO to step in and help us complete the plan. We’ll be seeking funding opportunities with a number of prospects, and we intend to wow them with a brilliant business plan that they won’t be able to resist.
We need a motivated and reliable quick study. If your talents and personal disposition demonstrate that you’re the candidate for us, you’ll work closely with our Founder and CEO to develop the financial models for our innovative start-up. We are looking to complete the business plan by February, so you’d be looking at putting in a decent number of after-your-regular job and weekend hours to help complete this task.
Initial compensation for this temporary activity will be via organic, fair-trade coffee and meals during our meeting times. When the plan is complete and the funding secured, you will have earned yourself a part-time Chief Financial Officer position in 2009 that is fairly compensated, and a full-time position in 2010 and beyond. We aim to grow this company as organically as possible, and we seek to reward our employees and Board of Directors with ownership in the company. So with the fruit of our collective labors, we can benefit extra as the company succeeds.
If this position moves you, tell us what grabs you about it and why you believe you’re the needle in the haystack we seek. Wise retired folks and mid-career geniuses with the skills and conviction are welcome to apply.
