We are looking for a person to fill the following position:
We are a small company that currently outsources our marketing needs to an Agency. We do much of the creative conceptualization internally and play a large role in the execution of the photography. As our company has grown over the last 5 years, so have our marketing expenses. We are looking to bring on a creative person with a smart business sense to fill all of the following roles. Obviously we are looking for a very specific type of person WHO MUST FIT ALL THE CATAGORIES BELOW:
Web Designer: We need a person who can design, implement and execute an extensive web site for a small company. We need this person to be able to execute from the ground up a sound architecture that can be easily managed from inside our company. The site will have a number of components and log ins for our retail and wholesale customers. It will need to utilize a shopping cart that will be compatible with our internal operating systems.
Catalog Design: We produce annually, 2 catalogs, one a 76 page full color brochure and a midsummer catalog that is 12 pages. We need full graphic design and layout abilities.
Advertising and Creative: Layout advertising, upload it to national publications and who is overall a creative thinker.
Logo Design / Product Graphics: We need someone who is creative and can design patterns for products (home accessories business), company logos, graphics, sales pieces, etc.
CAD: Though not a must, we currently hand draw all products and we would love to set up a collaborative effort to take the hand drawings to computer.
This person needs to be creative, but understands a strong work ethic. Position will be based in Carrollton, Texas. We are offer 401K, Healthcare and vacation. We are looking for a positive team member who has the right balance of creativity but understands the bottom line. We are looking for this person to assist us at trade shows, who is OK with travel and can be a jack of all trades.
We will want to see a strong portfolio of work that covers the entire spectrum of work above. It is our plan to make this person an integral part of the team as we move forward creatively wit product design. We would also need your salary requirements for consideration.

* Compensation: We are considering two types of compensation. Our ultimate goal would be to bring someone on full time, hours however can be flex, but we would desire to have this creative position here at the office at all time for work on a number of projects that have numerous moving parts. However, we would consider a retainer or contract type of position as long as it did not exceed our desire compensation level.
* Telecommuting is ok.
