Are you a web development freelancer, run a really small practice or are you part of a big impersonal agency you're looking to leave so you can become your own boss?
We currently have designers (print and interactive), a search engine marketer, social media strategist, and relationships with copywriters and we also utilize a team in India for programming.
You'll basically be our Technical Director, helping us design projects for our programming team to make these projects a success, manage the development side of these projects, help solve development challenges, and you may have some small maintenance work as well.
We'll have some work for you, but you'll probably need to round out your income with projects you bring to the table. Each of us has our own clients, but we try to cross-pollinate when it makes sense for the client.
You can work pretty much wherever you want, but we all used to work from home and coffeehouses and it didn't work for us. We have office space in Lincoln Park, a few blocks from the North/Clyborn Red Line Stop or if you're more of a bus person we're just off the Halsted 8 route.
