Market advisor / publisher seeks experienced editor to assist with publishing weekly newsletter.
Duties:
- Edit content
- Layout design - includes writing and graphic content layout
- Data management - ability to convert data into Excel charts / graphs (or using web-based or other tools) - financial data will be presented, so the ability to convert financial information into a readable chart is key!
- Newsletter contains highly confidential information, which is what our clients pay us for, so discretion is a must
Qualifications:
- Must have experience editing and laying out publications
- Must be able to create charts and graphs from direction provided by management
- Preference for experience dealing with financial or similar data
- Preference for background in or knowledge of financial and/or general market risk
- Preference for ability to publish securely where data cannot be easily copied or forwarded
Other information:
- Most work can be performed remotely after initial training period; however, occasional local meetings in Austin will be necessary
- Work hours should be between 5 and 10 hours per week to start
