Duties
•Oversee multifamily portfolio-East Coast, Southeast.
•Identify strategies and execute plans for portfolio.
•Turnaround underperforming assets
•Create and implement on-site incentive programs
•Conduct onsite visits, train, motivate and monitor property compliance and procedures.
•Monitor rents and competitor pricing.
•Identify and monitor cap-x projects
•Increase the financial and operating performance of the assigned portfolio to meet proforma projections.
•Recommend and implement methods to improve performance
•Contribute to the dispositions process within the assigned portfolio.
•Conduct on-going site visits reviewing physical condition and compliance standards.
•Review and approve Annual Audits and Operating Budgets for each Property in assigned portfolio.
•Review operating compliance with lender and management agreements
•Maintain effective lines of communications with managing agents and internal management
•Provide support to internal departments.
•Provide due diligence reviews and offer insight on potential acquisitions.
•Review and monitor insurance claims and other legal actions across portfolio.
•Review property financial operations, and sub Market trends and set budgets.
Qualifications:
•Degree in Finance or related field is required, as is 5+ years of related asset management experience within the multi-family arena.
•Candidate will have worked for both small and large companies focused on multi-family assets
•Proven history of turning-around underperforming properties
•Strong Financial Analytical Skills
•Must be capable of representing property ownership on matters of policy, business viability and financial relationships.
•Must have strong analytical and organizational abilities.
•Proficiency with property management software and MS Office applications including Word and Excel.
•Go-getter attitude.
•Must be willing to travel at least 50% and commit required time to the completion of responsibilities.
