SoMedia recently launched the IAM Network of city driven social media websites which are rolling out in the 20 largest cities across North America over the next year, and then around the globe. The IAM Network sites, aimed at the 18 – 34 demographic, promote and fund the development of local Internet TV and Citizen Video Journalism. For more information about the IAM Network please visit network flagship website VancouverIAM.com.

SoMedia Networks also operates a broadcast TV division which is currently producing the first episodes of TVIAM, a 30 minute weekly broadcast TV series focused on Citizen Video Journalism for the 15 – 25 age group which will debut in 50 million US households in fall 2008 and run for 52 weeks.

The IAM website Assignment Desks are virtual city desk where Citizen Video Journalists (VJs) can view, apply for, or suggest local assignments. The Assignment Desk is the core of our content acquisition program.
