We have an excellent opportunity for a strong Technical Writer who has the ability and experience to act as a facilitator and project manager for both marketing and technical projects. This is a highly technical role writing a wide range of documentation in support of two important server solutions. This role will be both intellectually challenging and hands-on at the same time.
Responsibilities:
• Writing deliverables include both technical documentation for IT professionals and marketing communications: i.e. white papers, hands on labs, comparison guides, demo scripts, presentations, reviewer guides.
• The ability to install the software, problem solve and troubleshoot issues is critical to success in the position.
• Collaborating effectively with other functional groups
Qualifications:
• The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about technology and effective in connecting the potential of the product with the real world needs of partners and users.
• Must have knowledge and ability to write for multiple audiences about server technology.
• Once ramped up in the position, the technical writer will average two days a week on site at the client location in Redmond, with the option of working from home or our Fremont office the remaining days.
• Work will begin in August 2008 and continue through June of 2009
