Ashoka, the leading international organization in supporting social entrepreneurship and innovation worldwide (and based in DC), is growing fast. We are looking for an executive assistant for one of our executives, the Leader of the People-Team (i.e. Recruiting, Talent and HR), who is working remotely in Boston.
Need 20 hrs/week of administrative assistance from someone with experience in helping executives maximize their effectiveness by providing them with comprehensive workflow-management support.
The responsibilities will include:
- in-box management (organizing, screening, prioritizing emails)
- scheduling (internal and external appointments)
- correspondence with very high-level contacts and their staff, drafting responses to job candidates
- file management and sorting (organizing mail, files, archives)
- travel arrangements
- expense tracking and reimbursement management
- contact management (entering data into a contact management system)
- event organizing
- web research on contacts/individuals
Skills:
- Ability to work with Excel, Word, Powerpoint
- Highly organized
- Ability to manage upward
- Highly discreet
- Excellent phone and writing etiquette
- Meticulous attention to detail
Experience:
Compensation: $16-$19/hr
