We are a group of 4 experienced entrepreneurs who are building a next generation online shopping application called DealBase.com. The site will launch in a few weeks and we’re looking for a talented developer to join our team and be responsible for building key portions of the site’s functionality. It’s a 3 month contract with a view towards full time employment.
Specifically we’d want you…
...to be very familiar with Ruby on Rails and MySQL.
...to have 3 or more years experience as a developer.
...to have strong Javascript and AJAX experience.
...to have built consumer internet apps.
...experience with agile development practices.
...to value testing and TDD, and be experienced or interested in BDD.
...experience with Git a bonus.
...to have an undergraduate degree (desired, not required.)
We are looking for talented individuals only, preferably US-based. Consulting firms need not apply.

We are a group of 4 entrepreneurs who have built and continue to operate several successful websites over the past 14 years, including TravelPost.com, PageWise and LovetoKnow.
