Eccolo Media is an energetic and growing marketing communications firm providing copywriting, collateral development and content strategy services to technology companies. We are actively recruiting accomplished marketing writers with high-tech experience to submit resumes and writing samples for consideration as a freelance marketing writer with our agency.
We invite only a very limited number of writers to work with our agency each year. Our needs are unique: each writer must not only demonstrate superb writing and communications skills, they must understand how to strategize and scope a wide-variety of writing projects and execute them with a proactive and rabid attention to detail. Those writers that meet our stringent requirements enjoy a long-term relationship with the agency and the opportunity to work with some of the most well known technology brands in the country.
Candidates who have been successful in joining our organization as a contractor generally have the following levels of experience:
• 5+ year as a marketing writer, with 3 years working in the technology industry
• A deep portfolio of writing samples including white papers, case studies, brochures, web copy, and other marketing copy
• Ability to multi-task and manage details accurately
• Experience interfacing with clients, customers, partners, etc.
• Professional attitude and communications skills suitable for interfacing with business clients and associates
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and comfort with Adobe Acrobat
• Editing skills, basic proofreading skills
• Fun, high-energy approach to assigned projects and problem solving, passion for technology and writing
