Receptionist/Administrative Assistant Position (New York/Bronx)

We are currently seeking a polished and professional individual for the role of Receptionist/Administrative Assistant. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills are essential as you will interact with all levels of the organization. We are seeking a positive individual who is always ready to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.

Your duties will include the following:

· Operating a multiline Avaya phone system to relay incoming, outgoing and interoffice calls
· Welcoming visitors – recording time and date of meetings in Outlook
· Setting up conference calls
· Operating a paging system to relay in-house announcements or calls to individuals on the phone
· Provide administrative support throughout the office
· Assisting with travel arrangements, mailings, faxing, filing and copying
· Working with the Administrative Manager on special events and projects as necessary
· Maintain office supply inventory

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred but not required
· 1-2 years of solid reception/administrative work experience
· Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, follow through and meet deadlines
· Strong PC operation and Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues
· Fluent in Spanish (speak, read & write)
· A flexible schedule with the ability to work occasionally fluctuating hours
· U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status required
