Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement our company strategy to create an online presence in Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and a variety of industry-specific social networks and blogs
• Drive awareness of these groups and increase membership at a rapid rate
• Work with our analysts and marketing team to create regular “channels” of information, events, and news to broadcast to our social networking members
• Write short synopses of our research, news, and events and publish these to these social media channels
• Monitor activity in all our social media channels and provide ongoing feedback to our team on practices and trends
• Use these social networks to extend our readership into Europe, Asia, and Middle-East
• Coordinate all activities with our senior marketing team and research analyst team
Requirements and Background:
• An avid fan and user of social networking systems
• Hard-working, looking to grow your experience in business and marketing as well as social media
• Excellent writing skills and ability to summarize information and write hard-hitting business copy
• Willingness to work from home in a fast-paced, highly stimulating, team-based environment
• Interest and background in business, human resources, training, and recruiting
• Self-starter, well organized, and highly quality focused
• Some experience in publishing, marketing or customer service
